Majors PDF Print E-mail
big_zuchinniCampers signed up for Waterdog Camp and Duskie Camp choose one week-long major for each week of summer camp. In the week-long major, campers find a small group in which to build friendships and also participate in activities and skill building around a specific theme. Campers in Waterdog Camp will participate in their major each morning, and those in Duskie Camp will go to majors in the afternoon. Campers will still choose from a variety of electives offered the rest of the day. Campers in the Mudpuppy or High School Camps do not choose majors because they are with the same group of campers all week long. Campers who are registered for specialty camps like Trail Riding, Rock & Raft, Mountain Biking, Canoe the New, etc, do not choose majors either. They will go with their specialty camp group when the other campers go to their Majors.

Week-long Majors available each week:

The Community Farm: Feed and care for the animals, gather eggs, plant new crops, pick veggies to deliver to the dining hall, cook delicious treats with fresh foods from the garden
Waterfront:
Lake toys, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, water games
