Course description:
The distance of each course can vary due to weather and trail conditions. Last year it was 4.1 miles and 8.3 miles. Both the 4 and 8 mile runners will start at the same time and run the first 4ish miles together. The course is made up of both single track trails and gravel roads and hills. The trails are rooty and rocky in places and depending on weather, could be muddy. Those running the 8 mile race, miles 4-5.5 will be different from the first loop with more hills, more technical single track and then you will repeat the same last 2.5 miles from the first loop. There will be 3 staffed waters stops for the 8 mile version at mile ~2.5, 4 and ~6.5 and the 4 mile loop will have one at mile 2.5.

What is the cost?

Cost for the Trail Run is: $30 for the 4-mile; $35 for the 8-mile (Online registration only). Participants registering by Nov 15th will be guaranteed an awesome race shirt and race socks. Online registration will close November 20th.
Registration on Nov 21st (if still open) at Bull City Running and at camp on race day will be: $40 for the 4-mile & $45 for the 8-mile.

Where does the race entry fee go?

Proceeds from the race will benefit the “Pass It On” Annual Fund which supports the camping ministry, enhances facilities and equipment, and helps send children and youth to camp through the campership scholarship program. By running in the race you can help send a kid to camp!

Please bring a donation for the Food Pantry

The Loving Hands Food Pantry helps provide food to people in Mebane, Efland, Hillsborough and surrounding rural areas. They currently assist 45 families (about 130 people) and the needs are growing. The Pantry relies on donations from individuals like you, so if you can, please help them by bringing a food item on race morning. Donations of non-perishable food items and canned goods are greatly appreciated!
